Can i Change My Laptop Crappy Processor?

well,i was wondering whether i can upgrade it...mine is Presario V3000 with intel core duo t5250(1.5GHz)..if it is possible to upgrade, how much will it cost?oh yeah, anyone know where the second ram slot is?i cant seem to find it...Can i Change My Laptop Crappy Processor?I do not think it can be done on your laptop, and the cost would probably out value the laptop. But you can upgrade your RAM to see if that helps. There may be ways to boost your processor speed. The previous person left links that include links for changing your memory.

But what I would also suggest is going to hp.com and then posting the same question on their forum that they have. Or you can chat with them on their website and they can tell you. There are alot of resources there and thats the where I went when I had my hp/compaq and had questions. Can i Change My Laptop Crappy Processor?Laptop CPU's are part of the motherboard, unlike desktops.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?Can i Change My Laptop Crappy Processor?laptop cpu is located as a desktop is located below the fan on the motherboard, some has four screws to remove to lift the cpu out, now heres the problCan i Change My Laptop Crappy Processor?By turning your laptop over, you should see a couple plastic plates that are held on by a single screw. unscrew them and remove the plates and it should be clear which one has the RAM under it. It seems that your laptop can be upgraded to a maximum of two 1gb chips.

If you are asking about the RAM you should probably not do your own CPU upgrade. Take into a computer shop and have them quote it out for you.
