Have saved a document as Microsoft Works Word Processor,How can I change to RTF or (doc) ?

Cannot get document into other more acceptable format,am I missing something obvious?Have saved a document as Microsoft Works Word Processor,How can I change to RTF or (doc) ?Open it in whatever program created it and try %26quot;Saving As%26quot; an RTF or whatever you want.Have saved a document as Microsoft Works Word Processor,How can I change to RTF or (doc) ?Microsoft Works has the ability to save as .doc You just open the document and click save as and where the section under the documents name is make the menu drop down and choose word xp and at the end of it it will show you what format it will be (.doc) click it and save.Have saved a document as Microsoft Works Word Processor,How can I change to RTF or (doc) ?If you are using MIcrosoft Word, it should be as easy as opening the document and saving it to the correct format.
