How to change my processor in my laptop?

I got HP Probook 4515s. I've seen in youtube how people open their laptops and just open some screws and change their computer parts. My laptop haves 2.1 ghz prosessor and i want better. It's not good enough with ati radeon hd 3200 and 4 gb of ram...How to change my processor in my laptop? Its way too much to do that you can possibly ruin the laptop if you attempted it its too difficult even for me to do that kind of stuff and im very handy with computers. So do it at your own risk. But before you do so I recommend you backing up your files to an external hard drive just in case. Good luck. How to change my processor in my laptop?I would not recommend you doing that. Taking a laptop apart is a nightmare for some people. How to change my processor in my laptop?Hp and Compaq laptops are incredibly difficult to take apart. That particular Processor may be all your Motherboard can support. (different chipset) You may have cooling issues as well. It is possible but most likely not worth it.How to change my processor in my laptop? It is not so difficult to take apart a laptop... you are just working with smaller parts. The catch is that few parts are really designed to swap in laptops... batteries, memory, hard drives and some things like WiFi and video . The issue is with heat and motherboard design.

Your notebook can handle up to a 2,4 ghz which in of itself is not a major increase. The best thing you can do performance wise is increase the RAM ... but you already have 4 GB.. which should be fine. The only to read more than 4 GB RAM would be to run a 64 bit OS.

I guess my answer would have to be... can you change it? Yes.. is it worth it? I don't think you would notice much difference. ANNNNND....This is something that you might need someone to help you with if you have never done it yourself.... it would be real easy to turn your laptop into a paperweight if you are not careful.
