my current processor is an amd turion dual core processor at 1.90 ghz... i need to get something running over 2.. how would i be able to do that myself??Question about changing processor....?Either get the processor changed, or overclock it.
Changing a processor in a notebook is a bit tricky though, so I highly recommend you get a experienced person to do it. Trust me, I tried changing a video card in a laptop before and it was hell..
You can try overclocking it, but sorry I have no knowledge of overclocking laptops and it sounds like a bad idea because laptops don't have cooling made for overclocking.
