How can you improve your P III without having to change the processor?

You could get the highest speed RAM that your motherboard can handle, and/or the most it can. then overclock your P3, but overclocking can be dangerous.

*EDIT* Promo-

Says that you cant overclock a P3, you can overclock anything you want if you try hard enough, hell, I overclocked my Xbox360 CPU and GPU. But he also says RAM wont do anything, when in turn, it can do somthing, but only if you get high speed RAM. Or somthing VERY easy. Go buy a new computer for around $750 that has 3Gb of RAM, new CPUs, and a GF9500 preinstalled. Because my ULTRA UBER FAST ONAGE GAMING RIG (lol.) Just blew up about 10 minutes ago while I was overclocing it. I overclocked it WAY to much. (CPU@5.7Ghz). So now I am useing my buget rig, and it works fine on most sutff,,,How can you improve your P III without having to change the processor?you could clock it, but not really recommended, try adding more ram to your computer and make sure that windows is running in performance mode - http://www.computer-adviser.com/computerHow can you improve your P III without having to change the processor?Max out the ram for starters, if a bios update is available then do that as well. Add an sas controller and get yourself a 15k rpm sas hard disk, most people don't realize that a sata controller is the slowest connection for a hard drive. Lastly, run a light weight Linux distro like Vector Linux SOHO, you will get blazing performance. If you must run windows then run windows 98se on that hardware. How can you improve your P III without having to change the processor?u can increase ur system performance by increasing ur RAM.then uninstall all the unnecessary programmes.this can increase ur performance very much.a 1GB DDR1 RAM costs about Rs1500.a 2GB DDR2 RAM costs a mere Rs1950.How can you improve your P III without having to change the processor?Overclock itHow can you improve your P III without having to change the processor?P3 doesn't have an unlocked multiplier or an unlocked core clock...-.- P4 does so do the C2d, C2Qs so no overclock. Increasing RAM won't do good since the CPU processes the info on the RAM! so it's no good since you cant feed it more than it can eat...upgrade it to a p4 lol

-EDIT-

did you realize you cannot overclock a p3 through bios, you have to do it through the OS which is 1. bad for the system, 2. not built for the computer, 3. you can't overclock a xbox! 4. never overclock past 5.5ghz...
