Is it possible to physically change a processor chip in a laptop? ?

I just got a new laptop but it has an intel celeron chip. Now I do know that celeron chips are bad and in the long run I would prefer a better processor. Is it possible to swap chips? If so how is it done?Is it possible to physically change a processor chip in a laptop? ?Yes, just go to the store you bought it and ask to upgrade. In most cases, there is a way to upgradeIs it possible to physically change a processor chip in a laptop? ?possible ....yes

but only if the motherboard is compatible with other chips (similar to faster ones available when new !)Is it possible to physically change a processor chip in a laptop? ?It is possible...if the laptop maker offers an upgrade. More than likely the answer will be no, as laptop makers want you to buy a new laptop rather than upgrade it.

I also suggest researching laptops better in the future and consider what you want versus what you can afford versus what you will need it for before you buy.Is it possible to physically change a processor chip in a laptop? ?In many cases YES

Unless the manufacturer has installed the highest available processor for your laptop's motherboard, you can get it upgraded. If you are asking this question, then it is probably better for you to take the computer into a local repair shop. My computer store offer's free consultation, so hopefully you can find a similar store in your area. You can also message me the specs on the laptop, and i can tell you if it cam be upgraded.
