My computer came stock with an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200. i'm planning on upgrading to an E8500. how big of a performance difference will there be? is it worth the upgrade? thanksProcessor change question?actually, it won't get you anything at all.
you can achieve the E8500 clock speeds on the E7200 just by upping the FSB to 1333 Mhz, provided your motherboard supports it.
i'm an AMD guy though, so I'll recommend that over Intel anyday.
